DLT Adoption: CarbonEnfo to Utilize Energy Web’s Web3 Infrastructure Solutions for Offering Blockchain-enabled Data Services

CarbonEnfo, a subsidiary of Empower Energy Technology, has announced its partnership with the Energy Web Foundation to develop blockchain-enabled energy data services. CarbonEnfo, known for its expertise in renewable energy data, aims to expand its offerings in the US market by leveraging Energy Web’s decentralized operating system and infrastructure solutions.

Last year saw a significant increase in solar installations in the US, with utility-scale installations rebounding from COVID-related challenges and a record number of homeowners installing rooftop solar systems. This highlights the growing demand for renewable energy solutions and the need for innovative companies like CarbonEnfo to provide reliable and transparent data services.

As an infrastructure operator and validator for the Energy Web ecosystem, CarbonEnfo will enhance network security for the Energy Web Chain and other software solutions relying on Energy Web’s technology stack. By joining the Energy Web ecosystem, CarbonEnfo aims to drive trust and transparency across the supply chain and advance its application development.
