The collaboration is enabled by Herald, a digital infrastructure provider that connects software developers to commercial insurance carriers through a single API. The partnership aims to offer enhanced customer experience through Zywave’s API-first interface and Cowbell’s tailored coverage options. This marks the first standalone cyber insurance offering on Zywave’s Hub platform, providing easier access to modernized cyber insurance products for MGAs, wholesale brokers, and retailers. According to AdvisorSmith, four out of five SMEs are currently uninsured or underinsured for cyber insurance. Cowbell’s partnership with Zywave aims to address this issue by expanding its reach within MGAs and brokers, thus accelerating the adoption of cyber insurance within the SME market.
