Investing Platform Stocktwits Introduces Advanced Options Trading, Enhancing its Range of Execution Services

Stocktwits, the popular social platform for investors and traders, has recently announced the launch of options trading and increased sentiment data on its platform. This move comes as the relationship between sentiment and options trading reaches record levels.

With the addition of these new features, Stocktwits aims to expand its existing suite of capabilities. Users will now be able to trade options directly within the platform through its subsidiary and SEC-registered Broker-Dealer, ST Invest, LLC.

Initially created as a platform for discussions about stocks and crypto, Stocktwits’ decision to include trading features aligns with the growing interest and enthusiasm among retail investors.

Rishi Khanna, CEO at Stocktwits, expressed excitement about the addition of options trading, stating that it represents a significant step in the company’s commitment to providing innovative trading tools and resources for its users. Whether users are experienced traders or beginners, the new Options Trading platform aims to provide an accessible and engaging experience to explore Call and Put Options.

This expansion of trading capabilities allows individual investors to have more flexibility in their trades and develop their investment identity within the Stocktwits platform. With expanded execution, real-time data, and insights into the thoughts on stocks and cryptocurrencies, Stocktwits aims to deliver even greater value to its users.

Stocktwits currently has over 8 million registered users, and in the coming months, the company plans to build new tools and data, expand execution functions to more asset classes, and continue fostering a strong community.

The platform’s mission is to be the global hub for conversation among all investors, from novices to veterans. It aims to provide a constant pulse on the markets and ensure access for all.

All securities products and services offered through ST Invest, LLC are regulated by FINRA/SIPC.
