Stockholm-based Fintech Treyd Secures Additional Funding in Series A Round Extension

Swedish fintech company Treyd has announced the completion of a $12m (£9m) extension of its Series A funding, bringing the total investment in the company to $25m (£20m). Led by Nineyards Equity, the investment round will be used to expand existing markets, invest in the core product offering and work towards achieving profitability. Since its initial Series A investment of $10m (£8m) 15 months ago, Treyd has expanded into the UK and Nordic markets, increased its customer base to over 600, grown its team size to over 60 and financed $149m (£117m) in purchases for SMEs in Northern Europe.
