Visa invests in Form3 to reduce fraud and streamline real-time payments

Form3, the cloud-native account-to-account platform, has announced that Visa has made an investment in the company, supporting its expansion efforts. In addition to the investment, Form3 will also provide Visa’s clients with access to its payments platform to modernize their payment infrastructure.

The partnership between Form3 and Visa aims to reduce fraud in real-time account-to-account payments by leveraging Form3’s single API connectivity. Michael Mueller, CEO of Form3, expressed satisfaction with the unique partnership, stating that it allows both companies to offer top-notch services to established banks and financial institutions.

Visa’s Chief Product and Strategy Officer, Jack Forestell, explained that the collaboration will offer cloud-native access to real-time payment infrastructures, boosting confidence in account-to-account payments. The partnership will combine Form3’s FinCrime Orchestration service with Visa’s deep learning AI and real-time risk scoring to help financial institutions manage the risk of real-time payments.

The investment from Visa will support Form3’s continued growth, allowing the company to develop new products and services and expand into new territories where real-time payment solutions are increasingly important.

Form3, founded in 2016, aims to disrupt the traditional payment infrastructure model with its cloud-native Payments-as-a-Service platform. The company is trusted by major banks and financial institutions in the UK, Europe, and the US to handle their critical payments architecture.
