Fountain, the leading labor applicant tracking system (ATS) and provider of hiring automation software for frontline workforces, has announced its integration with Branch, a workforce payments platform. This integration aims to make paying new workers faster and more scalable for hiring companies.
According to Branch, it is the first and only integrated payments solution for Fountain customers. By complementing Fountain’s comprehensive platform, Branch streamlines the process of paying workers, making it as simple as clicking a button. When using Fountain, companies can automatically generate Branch’s digital bank account and debit card for new hires during the application process, allowing them to get paid immediately after completing their work.
Notably, this integration is not limited to new workers. Operations teams can also automate payment setup for both W-2 employees and 1099 contractors, saving time and effort. Sean Behr, CEO of Fountain, expressed excitement about working with Branch to provide faster payment access to workers, thereby enhancing the worker experience and operational efficiency.
Businesses that integrate Branch with Fountain can benefit from the ability to attract and retain talent, expedite worker payments, and improve overall operational efficiency at no extra cost. Returnmates, a delivery and return pickup services provider, is the first customer to adopt this new integration. They can now enable their driver partners to set up a payment method before their first contracted block and receive payments on the next business day following their service.
Daniel McKeon, Head of Driver Operations at Returnmates, highlighted that this integration not only provides driver partners with a faster payment option and onboarding experience but also streamlines internal processes, reducing payment processing time from hours to minutes.
Atif Siddiqi, founder and CEO of Branch, emphasized that Fountain shares their commitment to offering businesses best-in-class solutions and providing versatile payment options for frontline workers. He expressed excitement about becoming Fountain’s first payments solution and accelerating the onboarding and payment processes for companies like Returnmates.
Workers can manage their Branch account and debit card through the Branch App, available on iOS and Android. This account has no minimum balance requirement, offers cashback rewards on everyday purchases, and provides surcharge-free ATM access at over 55,000 locations across the U.S. Furthermore, workers can add their Branch debit card to their Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets for added convenience.
Overall, the integration between Fountain and Branch aims to enhance the efficiency of payment processes for hiring companies and improve the payment experience for workers.
